With fans cheering Mike Lee made his famous lap around the arena, ride after ride, being the only professional bull rider at the Thackerville, Oklahoma Built Ford Tough Series event to ride 3 for 3!
Mike went into the night refreshed and ready to go. He texted a joke to his fans that said, "If you're coming to the bull riding tonight make sure you bring a tennis racket to swat them bugs!" He was in good spirits and ready to enjoy the night that God had given him.
With his family's support, training, and determination - Mike Lee went into this weekend wanting to win and he accomplished just that.
Friday night he rode Fab Slab for 86 and ran his famous lap around the arena with fans cheering.
Saturday night he rode Red Dingo for 86 points and another lap. That put him in the championship round where he chose Jet Airliner. He had studied the bulls earlier and hoped to get that bull in the final round and that is exactly what happened. His preparation sure paid off and he won the event on the bull he felt was the right pick for him. Eight seconds on Jet Airliner brought him 85.25 pts and the win!
Mike Lee is currently in 4th place in the PBR Built Ford Tough Series Standings and is well within range to be in first place before finals in Vegas.
He is also in 1st place in the PBR Touring Pro Division! He took the TPD by storm over the summer, winning numerous events across the country.
